The Administrative Assistant I supports College Relations through maintenance and upkeep of all archived College Relations documents pertaining to alumni, parents, friends, foundations, corporations, and other donors and potential donors to the college. The position also assists Advancement Services with administrative tasks related to gift entry, database updates and event registrations. This job is split between Research and Advancement Services, with 50% of time in each department.
Working with Research and Prospect Management team, establish and maintain individual archives for all Davidson College alumni, donor/leadership parents, specific friends of the college, foundations, and corporations.
As a member of the Advancement Services team, assist with data entry tasks in Blackbaud CRM including biographical updates, event registrations and data cleanup projects; prepare receipt mailings and assist in sorting mail.
Assist Research and Prospect Management team with Blackbaud CRM data entry, ordering subscriptions and supplies, and basic research support.

High school diploma or GED
Minimum of one year general clerical or administrative work experience
Data entry and filing skills

Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
