Davidson College Day Camp at the Lake is hiring Office Staff, Camp Counselors, Boat Drivers, and a Sailing Instructor for summer 2018. DCDC staff oversee the day camp program for rising 5th-9th graders who participate in activities that include: waterskiing, wakeboarding, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, tubing, archery, swimming and more. Ideal candidates will have experience working with youth age 10-14 in an outdoor setting. All staff are required to be Lifeguard & CPR/1st Aid certified by the 1st day of camp. Boat drivers are required to have a North Carolina Boaters License.
Dining Service Worker – Davis Cafe – Temporary assignment
Davidson College has an immediate opportunity for temporary staff in its Dining Service operation. This opportunity is expected to continue until May 2018. Successful performance in the temporary role would position the candidate to be considered favorably for a long-term regular position. The Davis Cafe is a quick service dining facility on campus, serving meals to students, faculty, staff and guests 7 days per week. The Dining Service Worker will perform duties that include, but are not limited to producing food to order or prep cooking, stock deliveries and maintain storage areas, wash dishes, mop floors, and take out trash.
Director of Digital Communications
A key member of the College Communications team, the Director of Digital Communications is responsible for leading and managing the Davidson online experience, through college websites, social media channels, multimedia content, search engine optimization and online advertising.
