Director of the Jay Hurt Hub
Davidson College seeks a Director for the Jay Hurt Hub for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (the “Hurt Hub@Davidson”). The Hurt Hub@Davidson is a world-class collaborative space that connects Davidson College students and faculty with entrepreneurs, companies, and community partners. The Hurt Hub@Davidson opened in 2018 and now has close to 150 co-working community members and engages hundreds of students through its many and diverse program offerings. The Director will help Davidson College continue to grow the offerings of the Hurt Hub@Davidson by building external relationships and partnerships, in keeping with the Hurt Hub@Davidson’s mission and vision.
College Advising Corps Adviser
The College Advising Corps seeks to hire multiple College Advisers to serve partner high schools for the 2020-2021 school year. Advisers will be placed in high schools where current College Adviser terms have been completed and in one new high school site. Recent Davidson College graduates are hired to serve as college advisers in high need high schools in both rural and urban settings in North Carolina. As members of a national movement, College Advising Corps college advisers will help students in under-served communities realize their dreams of attending college.
Head Cheerleading Coach
Davidson College seeks a Head Cheerleading Coach who will be responsible for the planning, training, and development of the Davidson cheerleading program.
Building Service Worker - Part time
Part-time Building Service Worker position to perform a variety of custodial and general housekeeping duties involving the care and cleaning of college buildings.
Campus Police Officer (Temporary)
The Campus Police Officer performs work involving the protection of life and property, the enforcement of laws and ordinances, the maintenance of order, and the investigation of crimes. The officer may perform specialized duties depending upon the individual officer’s background, abilities and needs of the department. The officer applies the community policing philosophy in a fair and impartial manner to all aspects of providing public safety services in a college environment.
