Much Ado Catering at Davidson College is seeking an On-Call Catering Attendant to assist with large events and busy weekends when available. Catering Attendant would aid in the setup and breakdown of events as well as working during the event to give guests the highest level of service to give them an unforgettable guest experience. 

Job Summary

Catering Attendants are responsible for aiding all aspects of catering events. This includes, but is not limited to: helping set up events (buffets, receptions, served meals, etc.), working buffet stations, serving meals, passing hors d'oeuvres, occasional bartending, clearing plates, cleaning up events and occasional dish washing. Catering Attendant needs to be able to communicate clearly with guests about dietary restrictions and be able to answer any questions about the menu/services. Attendant may also be asked to help with the preparation of future events and to help organize catering spaces.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• 1+ years catering experience (Higher Education catering experience a plus)
• Clear communication skills
• ServSafe Certification a plus!
• Ability to carry 30lbs regularly
