Position Summary:
Donor Relations is looking for an Administrative Assistant II to perform a wide variety of office duties in support of the Director and staff in Donor Relations.
Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for processing, proofing and mailing weekly gift acknowledgments and tribute notifications, tracking and managing gift agreement signature process, and conducting donor, gift, restricted purpose fund and scholarship recipient research using Blackbaud CRM, Etrieve and Banner 9.

Maintain recognition processes for the office of Donor Relations including assistance with stewardship events like our annual Board of Visitors meeting, Ne Ultra Society celebration, and Celebration of Giving. Review and maintain the donor honor roll and recognition society memberships including utilizing Blackbaud CRM reports to check for accuracy.

Work with Director and Donor Relations staff to manage all restricted purpose fund awards and stewardship efforts, including annual scholarship recipient outreach, donor reporting efforts and maintenance of stewardship data and restricted purpose fund data.

Perform general clerical work including document uploads, mailings, and scheduling of appointments and meetings; maintain and reconcile office budget; serve as point-of-contact for donor and campus partner inquiries; order supplies; prepare all invoices from directors; and supervise the department’s work-study students.

Perform other duties and complete special projects that may arise from time to time.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred. At least 3-5 years of responsible office support experience is preferred. Ability to perform challenging office work involving the use of independent judgment and personal initiative is critical. Communicate clearly and concisely. Work independently in the absence of supervision. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work (internal and external).
Desired Qualifications:
Candidates who demonstrate curiosity, initiative and self-motivation are well-suited for this role. A willingness to learn new technologies including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and Google Suite will also be beneficial. Excellent oral and written communication skills accompanied by a professional demeanor and a willingness to accept additional assignments and assist other team members as necessary are preferred. This position works with giving information so an understanding of and adherence to confidentiality standards is important. Someone who appreciates working on a team will enjoy this role.
