Assistant Professor in Theatre
The Davidson College Department of Theatre invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor starting Fall 2023. We seek an artist-scholar with expertise in the performance traditions and practice of the global majority, such as Black American Theater, Latinx Theatre, Asian American Theatre, Native American Drama, and/or other artistic traditions outside of the Western canon. The successful candidate will demonstrate the capacity for excellence in artistic, scholarly, and pedagogical practice in a liberal arts context.

The Cook I position at Vail Dining Commons is producing hot and cold food in quantity to service our guests 3-meals-a-day, 7-days-a-week.  This is a 12-month benefited position.
Area Coordinator
The Area Coordinator (AC) is a twelve month, live-in staff member in the Residence Life Office at Davidson College. As a member of the Division of Student Life, the AC will join a competent, committed team who cares deeply about students and actively works to promote a welcoming, socially just environment for all people. The AC serves as a front-line responder in campus emergency situations, is often required to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, and works closely with a diverse student population.
Electrical Shop Trade Worker
The Purpose of this position is to assist the electrical shop with performance of duties in the maintenance & repair of campus buildings, college housing and plant equipment.
Groundskeeper
The purpose of this position is to perform general grounds maintenance involving the operation of motorized equipment and a variety of hand tools. During the academic year this position is assigned rotating weekend duty approximately every ten weeks.

The Campus police officer performs work involving the protection of life and property, the enforcement of laws and ordinances, the maintenance of order, and the investigation of crimes. The officer may perform specialized duties depending upon the individual officer’s background, abilities and needs of the department. The officer applies the community policing philosophy in a fair and impartial manner to all aspects of providing public safety services in a college environment.
