The College Union Ticket Office Manager position is a 12 month position that starts July 1, 2020 and ends June 30, 2021. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. There is also a requirement to work weekday evenings and on the weekends if events are scheduled in the Duke Family Performance Hall or other college venues that the ticket office supports. This is a one year appointment with an opportunity for a second year renewal. Must be a Davidson College graduate from class of 2019 or 2020 to be considered for this position.
Manage all areas of the College Union Ticket Office including ticketing for events in the Duke Family Performance Hall, Tyler Tallman Hall, the Barber Theatre, and occasionally DCPC, and the John Belk Arena. Ticketing responsibilities include sales, will call, customer service, reporting of ticket sales and maintaining records and management of finances for each show. Hires, provides training, and supervises the student employee ticket office and Front of House staff. The Ticket Office Manager supports the College Union Information Desk when required during the week.
