The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Davidson College invites applications for two 2-year positions at the Visiting Assistant Professor level with a start date of July 1, 2020. Completion or imminent completion of the Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field is required, and undergraduate teaching experience is preferred. We are particularly interested in candidates who have the capacity to teach courses in computer science in addition to mathematics. Faculty members whose primary interest is in computer science are also encouraged to apply. Candidates must be committed to outstanding teaching and continuing scholarly activity. The teaching load is 5 semester courses per year.
