The Program Manager, Educational Programming at the Jay Hurt Hub for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Davidson College will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing unique, entrepreneurship-focused programs for Davidson students, faculty, staff, alumni, co-workers at the Hurt Hub and broader Davidson community. This person will play a key role on the leadership team at the Hurt Hub@Davidson focused on producing educational curriculum, special events, and funding competitions supporting our community members wherever they are in their entrepreneurial journeys.
Top candidates will have “fun doing the impossible” and will embody an entrepreneurial spirit, enjoying the process of testing, learning, and iterating to develop exceptional experiences for everyone who engages with the Hurt Hub@Davidson. They will not be afraid to take risks and move quickly, while also having an unwavering focus on inclusion, equity, ethical behavior, and high-quality standards. They must also be excellent communicators and project managers with an acute attention to detail. We run the Hurt Hub@Davidson just like a startup and encourage applications from those outside the world of higher education and non-profit organizations as well.
Ideal candidates will also have at least 3-5 years of experience in program development & management, curriculum development, product development & management, and/or service development roles.

Serve as a representative and evangelist for all things happening at the Hurt Hub@Davidson to drive greater awareness and involvement across the campus community.

Participate in Admissions and College Relations activities as requested by the Director of the Hurt Hub@Davidson including trainings, webinars, panels, special events, etc.

In partnership with the Coordinator of Student Engagement, cultivate relationships with students seeking to work on their own venture; provide guidance and ongoing support and connect students to resources as needed.
