The College Union Operations Fellow position is a 12-month position that starts Jul 1, 2021, and ends June 30, 2022. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. There is also a requirement to work weekday evenings and on the weekends if events are scheduled in the Duke Family Performance Hall or other college venues that the ticket office supports. This position will also support building operations as directed by the Assistant Director. This is a one-year appointment with an opportunity for a second-year renewal. Must be a Davidson College graduate from the class of 2021, 2020, or 2019 to be considered for this position.
Manage all areas of the College Union Ticket Office including ticketing for events in the Duke Family Performance Hall, Tyler Tallman Hall, the Barber Theatre, and occasionally for events beyond these venues.
Ticketing responsibilities include sales, will call, customer service, reporting of ticket sales and maintaining records and management of finances for each show.
Hires, provides training, and supervises the student employee ticket office and Front of House staff. The Operations Fellow will help provide oversight of the College Union Information Desk, support 900 Room bar staff, augment the technical services team, and provide on-call support to student building managers.
