The Classics Department of Davidson College invites applications for a 2-year appointment to the position of Visiting Assistant Professor, beginning 1 July 2022. We welcome candidates who have demonstrated enthusiasm for and experience in teaching both Greek and Latin at all undergraduate levels. The annual teaching assignment of 5 courses per year will normally consist of 2-3 beginning and intermediate and 2-3 advanced courses in Latin and/or Greek. We expect the successful applicant to have the PhD in hand by 1 July 2022.
