The Davidson College Office of Admission and Financial Aid is looking for a professional and welcoming person to join our team as an Admission Receptionist. This person will be responsible for managing the lobby area of the admission office and greeting all visitors to the College. As the first point of contact for prospective students and their guests, this person will answer questions and deliver information on the College and surrounding area in a professional and welcoming manner, coordinate visit requests, ensure that phone and web inquiries are answered effectively, prepare visitor materials, help coordinate tour guide schedules and attendance, and collect and record accurate information on all of our visitors for follow up by the admission and financial aid staff.
Successful candidates will have effective communication skills, a warm and welcoming demeanor, comfort using and learning technology platforms, and a record of success in an administrative role.
Minimum Qualifications:
-HS Diploma and minimum two years relevant experience as an administrative assistant, secretary, or receptionist
-Have experience with spreadsheet applications, mail merge, and organizational calendar applications.
-Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and communicate in a friendly, professional manner.
-Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
-Excellent and inclusive customer service.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with CRM databases.
