Assistant Professor of Music

Cook 1 - Much Ado Catering
The Catering Cook 1 - Limited Time, On-Call position will prepare hot and cold food in a timely manner for various special events, gatherings, and occasions as requested by our guest and directed by the Catering Chef or Sous Chef. Hours are available from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m., Monday through Sunday year-round including some college and national holidays.
Banquet/Event Captain
Davidson College seeks a limited hour Banquet Captain to follows the direction of the management team in supporting all aspects of the catering operation, including on and off-campus banquets, meetings, breaks and deliveries. The successful candidate will have a customer service background, will be able to leads and coordinates duties and helps train and diverse staff while also performing front, and back of the house duties. Lake Campus Facility Operations Worker
Position performs responsible work in the Physical Education, Recreation & Wellness Department at the Davidson College Lake Campus facility (152 Lake Campus Dr, Mooresville, NC 28117). Work is performed under general supervision of the Assistant Director, PE, Recreation & Wellness. Hours 12:00-6:00 (Monday-Sunday).
College Store Cashier
The Davidson College Store Temporary Cashier is an on-call position to people typically available days (some evenings) throughout the Academic Year (August – May). The position is responsible for customer service, cash register operation, web order fulfillment, re-stocking, packing & shipping, and other duties pertinent to daily operations of the Store. Store hours are typically 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday – Saturday. Added consideration will be given to those who may also help beyond these hours during College Sporting events and otherwise.
Commons Market Cashier
This is a temporary full time non benefited position. Hours include evening and weekend shifts. The Commons Market is open 7 days a week from 8:30 am -11 pm.  The Cashier is responsible for cash register operation, assisting with storing, rotating and restocking products.
Dining Service Worker - Pantry
The Pantry position is responsible for all tasks related to food deliveries, stocking, Assist in the kitchen prep, work in the front line as needed cleaning of storage areas, and dish washing in a fast paced and excellence focused dining unit. Pantry workers must be able to work independently while managing their tasks effectively with little direct supervision. This is a 9 month, 40 hour per week position with work guaranteed only during the academic year (mid-August through mid-May). Some summer jobs are available at the college but must be applied for each year. Summer hiring is subject to departmental approval. This is a benefited position offering access to Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, paid vacation and sick time accrual, and holiday pay.
