Animal Care Technician (Part-Time)
Two positions are available! The Animal Care Technicians are responsible for the daily care of animals used in research and teaching according to the operating and regulatory requirements related to care and use of laboratory animals.
Painter
Davidson College is seeking an experienced painter for the primary purpose to finish and maintain all surfaces. Prepare patch and paint wood, plaster, drywall, steel, concrete and brick by recognized procedures and techniques of the painting trade.
Maintenance Mechanic
The purpose of this position is to perform scheduled PM on all college HVAC and refrigeration systems. Work performed will include changing filters, grease motors and bearings, clean and inspect drain pans, tightening and replacing belts. Also assisting and working with other trades inside the department.

Cashier
The Davis Café Cashier is responsible for all tasks related to cash register operation and customer service in a fast paced, busy and excellence focused dining unit. An outgoing personality and friendly, approachable demeanor are strongly desired in our Cashiers. Cashier's must be able to work independently while managing their tasks effectively with little direct supervision. This is a 9 month, 40 hour per week position with work guaranteed only during the academic year (mid-August through mid-May). Some summer jobs are available at the college but must be applied for each year. Summer hiring is subject to departmental approval. This is a benefitted position offering access to Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, paid vacation and sick time accrual, and holiday pay.
